Installation & Requirements

• Modification Required: Installation involves cutting one wire in the IMA harness and crimping connectors.

• In-Shop Service Only: Due to the technical nature of this upgrade, we offer in-shop installation at our locations. Mobile installation is not available for this product.

• Lead Time: Estimated 50–90 days from order to delivery.

Beta Software Notice The LiBCM operates on beta software which expires every 45 days for safety and updates.

• We ship with the latest version installed.

• User Maintenance: Future updates must be performed by the owner via a simple software reinstallation process (detailed video instructions provided).

Technical Configurations Built to the following specifications: 5AhG3, STACK_IS_48S, GRIDCHARGER_IS_NOT1500W, LCD_4X20_CONNECTED, and SET_CURRENT_HACK_00 (Standard configuration).

Warranty: Includes a 3-year/unlimited mileage warranty covering the 2000-2006 Honda Insight Lithium upgrade and the original service purchased.

Shipping: Free shipping is included within the continental United States. We offer reduced return shipping rates to make returning your core easy.

Core Charge:

• A $750 refundable core deposit is added to shipping orders.

• Return your old battery in the original packaging within 45 days for a refund (minus return shipping).

• No deposit required for in-shop installations; we collect the core at the time of service.

Core Return Instructions: Simply place your old Honda Insight battery into the same packaging your new lithium unit arrived in and send it back. We process your refund immediately upon receipt.
